Miken Freak FX 700 ASA SuperMax SPFXMA Slowpitch Softball Bat Review

I can not believe how much pop this bad boy had after only a couple hits. It's insane this is not on the banned list. I've had it only a few days and most of my team already has switched over to having this be our primary bat. We are probably going to have to get another one. Get this bat and trust me you will be hitting frozen ropes instantly.

Get your Freak on this season with the newest installment of this beloved Miken classic! The Freak FX700 is a 100% composite bat constructed with some of the most innovative technology on the market. The Freak starts out with Miken's R900 Carbon Fiber that provides 38.8% higher tensile strength and 40% higher elongation than the industry standard. This composite material is proven to endure grueling play and deliver unrivaled durability. The barrel is enhanced with Durashell Technology (DST) which acts as a composite shield on the outer shell, maximizing performance right out of the wrapper. Inside the barrel, Miken uses HBF Technology to create a multi-layer wall that is 100% "fully released" for extreme hot-out-of-the-wrapper play. Furthermore, the proprietary layering of these walls extends the barrel flex which results in a 20% larger sweetspot! This hitting surface is then perfected using Miken's Advanced Inner Flex Technology that delivers precisely calibrated handle flex and energy transfer to optimize barrel rebound. For the player this means maximum trampoline effect, maximum ball speed and maximum distance! The Freak is finished off with an Extreme X-Tack grip that gives players the optimal amount of tack for true comfort and bat control. Miken: Elite Equipment for the Elite Player! The Freak FX700 comes with a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty.2 1/4 Inch Barrel Diameter Approved for Play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, ISF Endloaded Swing Weight Extreme X-Tack Grip Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty Fully Released Multi-Wall Construction = HOT Out of the Wrapper Inner Flex Technology Made in the USA One-Piece Design R900 Composite

Miken Freak Plus Slow Pitch Softball Bats Review

Core Review:
I've owned this bat (28oz version) for 2 years, spaning aproximately 250 games, and since I always let my teamates swing my bats, it has easily over 1500 hits on it by now. It's still going strong and has a lot of pop, with no rattle. It's been well worth the money and I expect to be using for at least 2 more years. I've recommended this bat for purchase for many of my friends who like swinging composite bats and those who've purchased one have been very happy with it. I've also purchased a 26oz Freak Plus for those long tournament days or when I start getting tired :) ...and it's also been a great bat.
More Details:
Good composite bats will increase their performance as more hits are put on them. Often people talk about the "break in" period of a bat, and for composite bats this is usually the time between unwrapping the bat until the player feels it's performing at a satisfactory level. Since there is currently no readily available consumer based measuring technique to define "performance" or what "satisfactory" is, it's usually a gut feel. But a general rule of thumb is that around 200-300 hits, a composite bat will be noticeably better than when first unwrapped. The Freak Plus is no exception. Be aware, there are better bats out there but this review is not an attempt at comparison, just a stand-alone opinion of what I feel is a great bat.
Good luck, and swing hard! :)

Miken Ultra Special Edition Review

Miken Ultra Special Edition
Average Reviews:

Miken Ultra series bats have no warranties. What does this mean for the customer? Well, you pay $200 or more for a bat that may be defective, as mine was. The handle on my Ultra II began to separate from the barrel after only a couple months of use, and Miken would neither replace the bat nor refund my money. Their customer service is terrible and ill-informed: I was instructed to return the bat to Miken for replacement by a sales rep even though the bat does not carry a warranty. So I wasted $25 dollars on shipping too. It's quite shocking to have a metal bat break in the first place, but for a company not to stand behind a supposed high-end product they charge dearly for--that's the greatest shock of all.

The Velocit-E Ultra II: this is the bat that flat out changed everything. Due to its E-flex Ultra II Technology there has NEVER been a bat that combines Performance, Durability and Sweetspot like the Ultra II. So no matter where you hit on the barrel, it's BOMBS AWAY. Players are saying that this bat has the biggest SWEETSPOT on the market. We are positive that you have never hit a bat that is more forgiving and has more pop. Miken is the only company using this technology - there is no comparison. Features: Exclusive E-Flex Ultra Technology, Carbon-X Shell Technology, 100% Composite Construction, 13/ 16" Handle, 13.5" Barrel, BPF 1.20. Bat is new in the wrapper but carries no warranty. * E-Flex Ultra Technology * Carbon-X Shell Technology * 100% Composite Construction * 13 1/2" Barrel
