Miken Ultra series bats have no warranties. What does this mean for the customer? Well, you pay $200 or more for a bat that may be defective, as mine was. The handle on my Ultra II began to separate from the barrel after only a couple months of use, and Miken would neither replace the bat nor refund my money. Their customer service is terrible and ill-informed: I was instructed to return the bat to Miken for replacement by a sales rep even though the bat does not carry a warranty. So I wasted $25 dollars on shipping too. It's quite shocking to have a metal bat break in the first place, but for a company not to stand behind a supposed high-end product they charge dearly for--that's the greatest shock of all.
