Easton's Sr. League baseball bats have a common theme: extra-long barrels and monster barrel diameters that, taken together, create the largest sweet spots of any bats in the field. Enter the Stealth Speed II, which is certain to outperform your expectations and, more importantly, your competition. Beyond the massive hitting zones, Easton technology is what truly differentiates the Stealth Speed II. The bat is equipped with the company's patented two-piece ConneXion system, which "hinges" during the swing to produce an efficient energy transfer. The bat's Integrated Matrix Technology (IMX), meanwhile, strengthens the bat's composite barrel, providing an extraordinary feel while virtually eliminating vibration. Combined, the technologies help players hit the ball further while using less energy through the arms and body.
The Stealth Speed II bat also employs Easton's Carbon Nanotube Technology (CNT). Made possible by Zyvex Nanosolve, CNT provides unmatched durability in the company's composite bat and handle designs. Finally, Easton uses a laser precision manufacturing system to minimize material overlap, removing excess mass from the barrel. This speeds up your swing so you can hit with greater power and confidence. Other features include an aggressive new graphic treatment, a -10 ultra-lightweight length-to-weight ratio, a 2-5/8-inch diameter barrel, a 29/32-inch tapered handle, and a 400-day manufacturer's warranty.
About Easton In 1922, Doug Easton began crafting custom wood bows and cedar arrows in Watsonville, California. Although Doug produced tournament-grade, footed cedar arrows for the archery champions of that era, he was constantly frustrated with the inconsistency and lack of uniformity of wood shafts. Convinced that consistently straight uniform arrow shafts were impossible to manufacture from wood, Doug turned his attentions to aluminum. In 1939, he began manufacturing aluminum arrows in Los Angeles. His instincts about this material were correct, and in 1941, California archer Larry Hughes won the national championship with a set of Doug's aluminum arrows. This was the beginning of a trend that would change traditional archery and transcend into numerous other sports arenas over the next 50 years.
Today, Jas. D. Easton, Inc. is a privately owned manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of sporting equipment, headquartered in Van Nuys, California. It currently employs more than 1,000 people worldwide in various distribution, manufacturing, sales and marketing capacities. Other operations are located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mexico, and Canada. Easton is considered one of the world's preeminent innovators, designers, and manufacturers of sporting equipment. Much of this success is due to Easton's corporate strategy centered around producing products for the highest level of performance. Throughout its history, Easton has not only grown from within, but through the selective acquisition of other technology-based sporting goods companies.

Easton SCX14 Synergy Extended Slow Pitch Bat Review

Easton SCX14 Synergy Extended Slow Pitch Bat
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I wanted to "treat" myself to a good bat and I purchased this 34inch 30oz Easton. I've purchased various easton bats over the years and was looking forward to this one. I'm 6'1" and a lean 195 lbs and expect a bat to transfer energy, not flex too much. The bat sounds odd, as if it literally had a barrel made from bamboo. I know, it's weird. People ask about the bat all the time, for all the wrong reasons. The extended barrel might be the culprit, but who knows. Don't get me wrong, it does have positives. When you hit the ball perfectly, it does push the ball deep, but I use this as my secondary bat. Now, I'm back to my older Eastons that perform solid and have softballs pop right off the barrel. Hope this helps. -E.

Boasting Easton's patented Integrated Matrix (IMX) technology, which optimizes the relationship between the materials, design technologies, and manufacturing process, the SCX14 Synergy extended bat continues to dominate the slow-pitch game. The bat's distinguishing features are its 13.5-inch extended barrel--which creates a bigger sweet spot--and its Extended Flex design, which stretches the sweet spot all the way across the entire barrel length. As a result, slow-pitch softball players will enjoy more power than ever before.
Other details include an evenly balanced design that maximizes swing speed; an ultra-thin 29/32-inch handle with a Pro-Tack cushioned grip; and a 2-1/4-inch barrel diameter. The Synergy slow-pitch bat--which meets all 2007 bat performance standards from ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, SSUSA, and ISF--carries a one-year warranty.

My son is 8 years old and this bag is a great size for his age group. It might be a little small for high school age kids. I love the fact that it has 2 separate compartments with zippers. My son puts his helmet and batting gloves in one, and his glove and cleats in the other one. It ha 2 bat tubes on the outside of the bag. I didn't think i would like that, but i have grown to like it. Great bag!!!!!! We bought them for our entire team!

Designed for youth league players, the Louisville Slugger YB96M Maverick baseball bat is built for durability and performance. From the earliest days of the game, Louisville Slugger has employed the most powerful technology in the bat business. Back in the days of Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth, that meant putting the most skilled craftsmen at the lathe, where they handcrafted bats to the most demanding specifications of the world's most demanding players. Today, it means applying the latest aerospace technology to bat making, delivering high-tech aluminum, hybrid, and composite bats for youth, high school, college, and senior leagues.
The YB96M bat is made of a C1C composite, which embeds multiple layers of aerospace-grade graphite and S-glass fibers in a specially designed and toughened epoxy resin. The result is a bat with an optimum combination of performance and durability. Other features include a 2-1/4-inch barrel thickness, a Louisville Slugger end cap, a 7/8-inch standard handle with a synthetic grip, and a -11 oz. weight ratio without the grip. Available in lengths ranging from 27 to 31 inches (with weights from 16 to 20 ounces), the YB96M carries a one-year warranty.
About Louisville Slugger In many ways, the rich 120-year history of the Louisville Slugger baseball bat began in the talented hands of 17-year-old John A. "Bud" Hillerich. Bud's father, J.F. Hillerich, owned a woodworking shop in Louisville in the 1880s when Bud began working for him. Legend has it that Bud slipped away from work one afternoon in 1884 to watch the Louisville Eclipse, the town's major league team. After Pete Browning--the Eclipse's star who was mired in a hitting slump--broke his bat, Bud invited him to his father's shop to make a new one. With Browning at his side giving advice, Bud handcrafted a new bat from a long slab of wood. Browning got three hits using the bat the next day. Browning told his teammates, which began a surge of professional ballplayers visiting the Hillerich shop.
Although J.F. Hillerich had little interest in making bats, Bud persisted, eventually registering the name Louisville Slugger with the U.S. patent office in 1894. In the early 1900s, the company was one of the first to use a sports endorsement as a marketing strategy, paying Hall of Famer Honus Wagner to use his name on a bat. By 1923, Louisville Slugger was the selling more bats than any other bat maker in the country, with such famed clients as Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Lou Gehrig. In the ensuing years, the company has sold more than 100 million bats, and 60 percent of all Major League players currently use Louisville Sluggers. The company now sells far more than bats, including fielding and batting gloves, helmets, catchers' gear, equipment bags, training aids, and accessories.

Easton Hyperlaunch Ball Thrower Review

Easton Hyperlaunch Ball Thrower
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Easton Hyperlaunch is a useful training aid particularly for training young players. But it has one problem. The sling shot will either wear out or break after approximately 1,000 shots and Easton does not sell replacement sling shots.
While it is supposed to be able to launch a ball 200 feet, the most I have seen anyone attain is 100 feet. I don't know how Easton was able to attain 200 feet because juat to get 100 feet requries the latex sling be drawn back about as far as it can go.
While it can be used to launch both fly balls and ground balls. there is no spin on the balls so it doesn't quite simulate a ball coming off a bat But it will do.
In order for the coach to get the proper distance takes quite a bit of practice. Some coaches can throw the ball as far as the Hyperlauncher so it may not be worth the cost. It is much more accurate than trying to hit a ball with a bat.

Have a budding baseball star in your midst? Help him hone his skills on the diamond with the Easton Hyperlaunch ball thrower, which slings balls at a variety of angles with power. Ideal for infield or outfield drills, the Hyperlaunch fits comfortably in the hand somewhat like a large slingshot. Once armed, it can shoot balls over 200 feet, letting players practice fielding hot shots at third base or charging an outfield line drive in anticipation of a play at the plate. Users will also dig the unit's durable steel frame and tough latex tubing, which won't break down at the first sign of stress. And when you're finished with fielding practice, the handle folds up conveniently for compact storage in a carrying bag or box. A fun training device for kids and adults of all ages, the Hyperlaunch comes with three soft neon 9-inch balls and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

Easton LSS6 Stealth Speed -12 Baseball Bat Review

Easton LSS6 Stealth Speed -12 Baseball Bat
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bought this bat for my boy as it is one of the few (as of this date) composite bats approved for LL. My boy is 11, but he is on the smaller side. He has always made great contact with the ball, but his size keeps him from generating enough power to consistently get on base. Not any more. With this bat, his swing is plenty to drive strong line drives into short outfield, and fast ground balls by the infielders. This bat is superior to the DeMarini CF4 for boys that are on the small side. The DeMarini in a similar length is one ounce heaver, but when you add in the end-loaded feel of the DeMarini, it just feels considerably heavier. For a kid that has strength, that is often a plus. Since I bought both bats, I'm figuring that my boy will use the Easton now and grow into the DeMarini. My boy absolutely loves the Easton, can't stop remarking about it - even after two weeks of using it. Great pop, very low vibration, no hype on this bat, just the real deal. Expensive!

The Stealth Speed II exploded around Little League ballparks after debuting in the 2009 Little League World Series as the bat of choice for many players and teams throughout the tournament. The 2010 Speed II takes the bat to the next level, with a sleek new look and an even more dynamic performance. Little Leaguer's love the Speed II's extra-long barrel length, which helps them consistently drive the baseball to all sides of the field. In addition, the bat's -12 length-to-weight ratio makes the Speed II super lightweight, helping players swing faster and follow through better time and again. What's more, Easton's two-piece ConneXion technology greatly reduces the vibration that typically occurs in the handle upon impact, while also creating a whip effect with the barrel of the bat when swung. This allows for maximum energy transfer as it connects with a pitch.
The Speed II employs a few other Easton technologies as well. Easton's Integrated Matrix Technology (IMX), for example, combines with Carbon Nanotube Technology (CNT) to strengthen the bat's composite barrel and improve the bat's feel in the hands. Easton also uses a laser precision manufacturing system to minimize material overlap, removing excess mass from the barrel. This speeds up your swing so you can hit with greater power and confidence. Other details include a 2-1/4-inch diameter extra-long barrel, a 29/32-inch tapered handle with a regular handle flex, and a 400-day manufacturer's warranty.

Now I am Very small so I needed a light and short bat. I got the 29" 16 version and this thing is totally awesome. I used my friends old orange stealth, which felt nice but this is cheaper and I think is better. Loads of pop, and the new Stealth Speed, tried one and this is just as fast so don't let Easton fool you. I was at practice and I was shelling ball after ball. The only problem is if you get a really super fast swing with your old bat, this will be faster so you might start of hitting the incap on it. Overall this is an awesome bat.

It's not bad for $20. I couldn't find a cheaper bat for softball. It's for a co-ed adult league, which it's perfect for. Anything beyond that though I would probably recommend getting a little better bat. It doesn't have as much pop as some other softball bats I've used so I took off a star for that.
