Franklin Sports MLB Complete Tee-Ball Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My son received this as a birthday present and was so excited to use it...he loves baseball. We put it together and on his second "pitch" using the Tee stand, the stand broke. It has a great concept of attaching the ball to the base with the rope but when a 4 yr old can break the stand by simply swinging, it's not made very sturdy.

Everything you need to practice your hitting, the tee features 3 hitting zones and home plate is 17" molded rubber. The wooden bat is 25" long and includes vinyl ball and youth sized batting glove. Great backyard fun!

Franklin Sports Sponge Bob Air Tech Ball Glove Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My son absolutely loved this baseball glove. First, it came with a soft but firm ball that he could be a little rough with and not break while at the same time, if he got hit he didn't get hurt. Second, the glove itself was softer than a traditional glove which makes it perfect for learning how to close his hands over the ball when he catches it. It was not too heavy for him, or too big. In general a perfect beginners glove for ages 5 to 8.

Franklin Sports MLB? Bat & Ball To Go #6972S3 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)- Nice foam like grip
- Heavier plastic top...when the wiffleballs are taken out the plastic is still a little on the heavier side for kids.
- Hard plastic barrel isn't the safest in my opinion, but it appears pretty strong.
- Have to see what the durability is over time...

MLB Powerhouse Foam Teeball Set (Colors May Vary) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a surprise for a friends son after he showed interest in outdoor activities. He is almost 6 years old and has used this a few times already.
Unfortunately, not as much as I'd like him to use it, since it is a pain to use.
The way it is held together uses a screw-like plastic plug on the bottom to hold the base to the main post. This part is HORRIBLY engineered and has NEVER screwed in correctly. It seems the grooves don't mesh very tightly, so after ever 2 swings it will loosen up enough that the bottom cross-supports fold into each other and it falls over. Every time. It gets worse as time goes by. I cemented the pieces together and now it wont fall apart, but some of the portability is also lost.
The bat and ball are top notch, as is the mechanism for raising and lowering the batting height. It is simple and just works. If only the whole thing was made this well.
I do not recommend it. Check out some of the others and take a chance there.

Rawlings Indoor/Outdoor T-ball Baseball - Leather Cover (TVB) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this baseball mainly to play catch with my son. It is a t-ball baseball but if thrown moderately hard and it hits you it will hurt some. The durability has been great so far and nothing out of the ordinary. The seams look like they are held properly and tightly.
The overall appearance of the baseball is nice, though there are quite a few logos on it, 4 in all and all blue. But it gives a nice look to the ball. the blue was actually darker than the one in the picture shown here on amazon, which looks sky blue. Or maybe its my monitor.
Anyways this is a nice ball to play catch with as it flys true when thrown and the desgin is nice as well.

Franklin Sports MLB Teeball Starter Set-Return Tee & Base Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 5 year old son who is playing T ball this year in kindergarten. I assembled the unit without any issue and on his first swing, the black plastic assembly broke at the plate. He did not swing that hard and he struck in between the ball and the black support. I brought it inside and super glued it and after it dried, he got 3 more good swings at it before it broke again. This time, I completely super glued the entire base and then screwed in 2 bolts with washers where the black plastic flange met the white plate. He got in 2 more swings and then it broke about 1 inch above the plate. I then put in a wood dowel inside the hollow black upright and on the next swing, it broke at the elbow where the black upright goes horizontal. I can't say how much a piece of junk this is. Save your money or spend it on something of better quality. My son is 5, doesn't swing that hard, and a device like this should be able to take an occasional hit when the bat does not connect 100% with the ball. I supervised him the entire time and his worst swing/connection was 50% ball and 50% ball support.

SKLZ Hit-A-Way Jr. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The product is made of pretty basic and cheap components. That isn't necessarily bad, but we've had ours only for a couple days so I'm not sure how well it will hold up.
My son seems to have enjoyed playing with the t-ball setup as well as swinging at the ball as it revolves.
I compared this to a lot of other products that weren't as versatile but were a lot more. All in all we're happy.
