little league teams for 6 years. I have never spent too much money on equipment, so I did my homework.
When shopping and doing my research for a higher end bat for my 11 year old son, I wondered
about the Mattingly Vgrip bats. They feel awesome to hold and I wanted to get one for him.
He struggled last year with some mental distractions at the plate. we got him some personal hitting
instruction, only thing missing was a serious quality bat.
This was it. He swung the bat for the first time during soft toss... the sound is intimidating, to the opposition.
He loved it as well. Next was live pitching from me... He hit 2 shots that were to the outfield.
Normally he is more of a contact hitter... with the instruction and now the proper bat. He is a monster
hitter. Get this bat for your little slugger... there is no "hype" here.
Well worth the money.
