(More customer reviews)This bat has a ton of pop right out of the plastic. It really seems as though no break in period is needed, but it does get better and better with time. Not sure if it's the player or the bat but can honestly say we are very pleased. The best feature is the built in anti-vibration mechanism that reduces "sting" on balls hit outside the sweet spot. HOWEVER...when the sweet spot it hit, my son says it doesn't even feel as though the ball is hit at all. Very smooth bat, love the balance and extra weight in the handle. You should buy this bat! You will not be disappointed. We've paid double the price for 1/2 the performance in years' past, this is the best buy we've made in equipment in the last 5 years.
