(More customer reviews)The MacGregor 16" softballs are nothing at all like the "mushballs" we played with when I was a kid. These things are rock hard. There's no way I would try to catch one of these bare-handed, much less let my kids play with them. As soon as I received them I ordered 2 Easton Incrediball 16" softballs instead. These are much mushier, and much more like the balls we played mushball with in school. I suppose serious Chicago-style softball players may prefer the MacGregor version, but for casual games with players of various skill levels definitely go with the Easton version.
